A promotional film for Kenross Containers

Cardboard box and packaging manufacturer Kenross Containers have invested significantly over the years in manufacturing and thought it was about time to shout about it!

Cardboard boxes or other packaging material is something you dont think of very often and its hardly surprising we as a nation do throw most of it in the bin. There is a company however that has been in the business for many years, in fact KCL have been making cardboard boxes since 1969. They have based their business at Kippax Mill for most of that time and have grown from just a handful of people to a medium size company that employs around fifty people. The company has been handed down to the second generation now and is run by the Turner family. Darren Turner comments on some of the changes he has seen over the years and how KCL is very much a family business that values its employee and the long standing relationships it his with its customers alike.

The brief here was to show the people that make KCL as succesful as it is, this doesnt detract from the development of the business over the years in fact it is part of it. What it does also is show customers and potential customers the high level of service and quality they will recieve as well as the value KCL places on its workforce.

Manchester Conference filming

Manchester conference filming and networking event held by BrokerBin, filmed on location at the Renaissance Hotel

Manchester conference filming worked with BrokerBin, an IT, telecom, imaging, and POS B2B marketplace. A members’ only organisation that is exclusively for brokers, resellers, service centers, integrators, and wholesalers. The one day event was held in May this year and the team at Cedar House Productions were asked to cover the day. We produced a highlights only edit with interviews from a number of attendees. This is one of several events that BrokerBin host all over the world. Their events are held at locations such as Vienna, Amsterdam, Las Vegas to name but a few. It was a hectic schedule with so much packed into the day, presentations were made by industry experts as well as the chance for open forum discussions.

Our conference filming service

We not only offer Manchester conference filming in the greater Manchester area we also provide UK coverage. Our cost effective service is provided to many big names as well as smaller businesses that want to monetise their conferences. Event organisers offer live streaming via a paid service and can recoup their costs. The additional benefit is being able to view the conference and make improvements on layout, lighting, audio, speakers. It yields far more benefit than photography in terms of preserving the moments.

Our brief

Our brief was to capture the day as it happened in very much a documentary style. Having little control over what happened and where. We also had to film interviews from attendees in order to document the benefit of BrokerBins networking events and the wider picture of getting together with trading partners.

Give us a call at Cedar House, we would love to hear from you. As a long term provider of Manchester conference filming services we have the experience and skill to help make your even a success.

Jewish Wedding Manchester

A Jewish Wedding Manchester filmed by the crew at Cedar House Productions and taken place at the Midland Hotel

Here is a lovely Jewish wedding Manchester. Its seems that this year weve never really been away from The Midland Hotel in Manchester. It was however great to be back again to film Marcelle & Adams wedding which was a fantastic celebration. Marcelle and Adam had been recomended to us by their friends who’s wedding we had covered some years earlier. Its always nice to hear the positive feedback they had given them just prior to us meeting. Leading up to the wedding I had met with them on a couple of ocassions to discuss all the details of the day. Needless to say it sounded superb, they had a great 1st dance planned, the decor sounded incredible and we were also looking forward to filming the wonderful Muzika Showband again.

At Jewish wedding Manchester it was sort of a milestone for us as its been over four years since we filmed our first Jewish wedding. Coincidentally this was also at the Midland hotel (see Jaimie & Marsha). Back then Jaimie & Marsha had chosen the lovely Jo Bradbury to photograph their wedding who was also Marcelle and Adams photographer!. Jo is a consummate professional and her work is truly outstanding, she’s also a pleasure to work with.

The Alexandra Suite looked truly breathtaking, due in no small part to the seamless planning of TLC wedding planners, who had laid out some spectacular centre pieces that looked incredibly stylish. I loved the colourful lighting and ambience during dinner it contrasted well with the lively and energetic build up into the night.
